The statistics are out from the Wasatch Front Multiple Listing Service and the numbers are mixed. Homes sale for the 4th quarter of 2009 skyrocketed 55% from the 4th quarter of 2008. The number of sold homes was 20 in Q4 2009 compared to 9 in Q4 2008. Prices, however, were lower by 3%. The median price for Q4 2009 was $462,000, in Q4 2008 it was $475,000. The number of listing for Q4 2009 was 25, this is the lowest number of listing in Yalecrest since Q4 of 2005! Plus, Q2 of each of the last 5 years has shown the greatest amount of sales of any quarter. So if you are thinking of selling this year, this upcoming quarter should be an excellent time.
