May 2010 statistics for Yalecrest decreased by half compared to April sales. Properties under contract were 3 and those that closed were 4. Total inventory increased from 27 to 35. The market absorption and inventory numbers increased slightly as well.

Yet another home has been demolished in our neighborhood. No fanfare or rancor, just quietly gone one day. Looks like this one beat the Salt Lake City 6 month moratorium.

The statistics are out from the Wasatch Front Multiple Listing Service and the numbers are mixed. Homes sale for the 4th quarter of 2009 skyrocketed 55% from the 4th quarter of 2008. The number of sold homes was 20 in Q4 2009 compared to 9 in Q4 2008. Prices, however, were lower by 3%. The [...]
